The program is cleverly designed to meet all interests by being actively paced with fun and a combination of art, gross motor activity, story-telling, sing-alongs, and poetry.
The DISCOVER program is recommended for preschool age students age 4-6. This class begins by showing students how to identify lines and shapes and how they can fit together to create recognizable forms in the world around them. Through individual guidance provided in this small group setting, students learn how to use the “language” of art to express their thoughts and ideas more clearly. Confidence continues to grow as we experiment with colors and shapes using 2– and 3-dimensional media, including watercolor paint, oil pastels and clay.
