Borough Taxes
Owners of property in the Borough of Media receive (3) three real estate tax bills each year. Delaware County and the Borough tax bills are mailed in early February. The Rose Tree Media School District bills are mailed in early July. Real estate taxes are calculated by taking the assessed value of the property (determined by the Delaware County Board of Assessment) and multiplying it by the local millage rate, and then dividing by a thousand. For 2025, the Township’s millage rate will be 2.00 mills.

By law, all Pennsylvania residents with earned income, wages or net profits must file an annual local earned income return online or by mail by April 15 . Even if you have an employer withholding or are not expecting a refund, you must still file a timely return.
