Engine 23
Engine 23 is a 2020 Pierce Enforcer Pumper. The apparatus carries up to 6 firefighters, 750 gallons of water, 2,300 feet of a various-sized firehose, and is capable of pumping 2000 gallons of water a minute.
Squad 23
Squad 23 is a 2003 Pierce Dash pumper. The apparatus carries up to six firefighters, 750 gallons of water, 2,600 feet of a various-sized firehose, a 10-kilowatt hydraulic generator, and is capable of pumping 2000 gallons of water a minute. Squad 23 also carries various rescue equipment and is the second truck to respond to rescue calls.
Snorkel 23
Snorkel 23 is a 2002 Pierce Lance with an 85- foot Snorkel articulating platform, which can deliver 1250 gallons of water per minute or carry 3 firefighters and their equipment to a building's roof. The truck has seating for 7 firefighters and carries over 200 feet of ground ladders, along with a full complement of truck company tools and specialized rescue equipment. Snorkel 23 is the primary apparatus for the company's Rapid Intervention Team.
Rescue 23
Originally purchased in 1994 Rescue 23 is a 2017 International with a Hackney body. In 2017 the apparatus was sent back to the manufacturer to have the body placed on a new truck. It has seating for five firefighters and carries a variety of specialized rescue equipment. This equipment can be used to remove people from; vehicles that were involved in accidents, fast-moving water, and stalled elevators, and also control hazardous materials that may have been spilled. Rescue 23 also provides additional equipment that may be needed on the fire scene such as lights, saws, and salvage equipment. The truck has a pullout awning that can be used as an area to keep responders cool and dry.
MICU 23
MICU 23 is a 2016 Road Rescue Ambulance and is certified by the Department of Health to provide emergency medical services in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Operating as the primary Emergency Medical Services unit for the department it is staffed by an Emergency Medical Technician and a Paramedic. The vehicle carries a wide variety of life-saving equipment for adult and pediatric patients along with fire ground rehabilitation supplies.
Ambulance 23
Ambulance 23 is a 1999 Horton Ambulance that is certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health to provide emergency medical services in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The vehicle carries a wide variety of life-saving equipment for adults and pediatric patients, along with fire ground rehabilitation supplies. This unit serves as the backup to MICU 23 and can be placed in service for special events.
Utility 23
Utility 23 is a 2014 Ford Explorer which serves as the department's command unit. The vehicle is equipped with pre-plans, command equipment and an extensive Hazardous Materials reference library.
