Bulk Trash Pickup
To be added to the pickup schedule for the month, you must call the Borough or complete the form on the right no later than Noon on the Monday before the last Wednesday of the month.
Bulk Trash Collection Information
- Bulk trash collection occurs on the last Wednesday of each month.
- Each residential unit is entitled to one free bulk trash pickup per calendar year. Additional pickups cost $30 each which must paid prior to the pickup.
- Each pickup is limited to five items, with a maximum of two large appliances, with exception to the unacceptable items below. Additional large appliances incur a $15 fee per appliance.
- Appliances containing freon are no longer accepted such as, but not limited to refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers and water coolers.
- Mattresses must be wrapped in plastic or a mattress bag.
- To schedule a pickup, you must call the Borough or complete the form on the right no later than Noon on the Monday before the last Wednesday of the month.
Additional unaccepted Items:
- Pianos and wood pallets
- Microwaves, monitors, computers
- Copiers, printers, and TVs
These electronic devices cannot be disposed of at transfer stations, waste-to-energy facilities, or landfills. Residents should explore disposal options through retailers, county e-waste programs, or local municipal e-waste programs. See the attached list for more details.
